Hot n’ Crispy Little Chicken Drumsticks
Uh-oh, another chicken recipe ;)
Sometimes when a craving hits me… it hits HARD and I want to get my hands on it N-O-W. This time the craving was for hot and crispy chicken drumsticks. However, I didn’t want big drumsticks I wanted the smaller ones that are actually parts of chicken wings. So I told hubby that we NEEDED a few things from the supermarket (wink* wink*). Actually, by now my husband knows what I mean when I say this. LOL.
So off we went, grabbed a few things and of course grabbed a pack of small chicken drumsticks. I tell you this recipe is finger linking good! You can have it as a snack (like I did!) or as a side dish.
Ingredients:
12-15 little chicken drumsticks
3-5 tbsp Maggi *hot* liquid seasoning
Chili garlic oil
paprika
dried parsley
salt
pepper
corn meal
Procedure:
- Mix all the ingredients – apart from the corn meal – into a zip lock bag and store in the fridge for at least 3 hours turning the bag over every now and then. If you think this will be too hot for you, you can skip the paprika.
- Heat the turbo broiler to 150 C.
- Dust the chicken drumsticks with corn meal just before you put them in and then cook for about 30 mins. (If you’re using a deep fryer, this will take just about 10 minutes.)
If you’re wondering why I don’t have an image of the end result… I told you I had a craving and by the time I remembered, well, hubby and I had nothing to present but the leftover bones.
