Eating in Rome

Hello all! I’ve been wanting to set up a food blog for the longest time! Somehow, one thing or the other got a higher priority on my To Do list and last night, just before I slept, I thought “tomorrow it is”.

So for my first ever post, I’d like to share these foodie pics from Rome, where my husband and I went to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. (These pics are just from ONE lunch we had after visiting St. Peter’s Basilica.)

Clockwise from top left: bruschetta with pancetta  and stuffed, fried green olives. These were our appetizers and you can see my husband’s hand grabbing another fried green olive! Next were our main courses, fettucine bolognese for me and pepperoni pizza for my hubby. I just LOVE how the pizzas in Rome are so super thin and crunchy. Next was our dessert, tiramisu of course.

Here’s to more years ahead!
